About Max Lucado

My impression of Max Lucado is that he is a very humble and caring person. His books give encouragement to those who are lost, weary and discouraged. They are also great for support those who are walking in faith and want that extra jolt of strength. Max has the ability to speak on the common man’s level. He is so funny and witty that I found his writing not only informative, but a pleasure to read.

Here is a little of what I have learned about this impressive Christian author. Max Lucado writes books for children, teens and adults. I have been told he has written many, many books. He also has bibles, bible study/lesson guides, books on tape, calendars, and he has even collaborated with others in some books. He has won the Gold Medallion Christian Book of the Year twice, once in 1997 for In the Grip of Grace and in 1995 for When God Whispers Your Name. He is married with three daughters and is the minister of the Oak Hills Church of Christ in San Antonio, Texas.
