In the town where
I live it was decided that all the town buildings would be shut
down at 5 PM on March 10th. This included the library. I have never
moved so fast in my life to get dressed, get in the car and hurry
to pick up books. There were quite a few on hold for me, along with
a Roomba. Yes, a Roomba! Our library has a fantastic assortment
of items to borrow from The Library of Things.
The
end result of my hasty trip is that we have 29 library books and
a Roomba for the duration of the shutdown/ stay-at-home/quarantine.
I
have said to my husband more than once that I should have had him
rush to the library to back the truck up near the front doors so
I could empty several shelves. After all, the books might feel lonely
is a closed building with no one to read them!
The
links provided below are links for Kindle versions. You can purchase
them from Amazon.com and you can also order print copies there.
If you are concerned about money (most of us are right now), check
your local library's website. They may offer a big selection of
Kindle books to borrow!
Amazon
also offers a wide variety of Kindle books for free!! Free!!
And I believe
there is a promo offer for two months of Kindle Unlimited for free
too!
