Everybody knows the "F" word, right? The one word that, when uttered, makes some people cringe in terror and hide in a dark corner of their room? "Family"! Yes, that's right. I said "family". We all have those moments. You know the ones I'm talking about-- the moments when grandma Wilson's number shows up on the Caller ID, and you remember that she had been trying to recruit people for the annual Wilson Reunion. We all have those days. Don't deny it.

Well, this audio book by comedian Louie Anderson talks about the infamous word and all it's rewards and casualties. He also shares some of his life experiences and how he's coped with having a dysfunctional family and turned what he thought was a dead end into a new road.

This audio book is a really, REALLY good book to listen to for anyone who has a family. I laughed until I cried and nodded until my neck hurt as Louie told stories about his family experiences and about people who have shared stories with him over the years as he's made his family and experiences the center of his comedy act. It's wonderfully funny and brutally true. It really shows that EVERYONE has a little dysfunction in their family and how to accept and use that dysfunction to make your life worth living. I adamantly recommend this for EVERYONE.
