Caesar: The Greatest Love Story Ever Told By A Dog by Clementina Marie Giovannetti is just that—The Greatest of Love Stories.  I am so grateful to Clementina for sharing Caesar's story with us.  I found her writing to be flawless and Caesar's story a truly touching one.

Clementina Marie Giovannetti came from an abusive upbringing.  Even so she became successful as a Certified Grief Counselor, Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, Gifted Healer, and Best Selling Author.  Clementina still felt something was missing from her life.  Even though she was successful, she still felt an emptiness inside of herself and longed to be truly loved.  In 1995, when she moved to a small town in Texas, someone dumped a puppy from their truck and left it to die—right in front of her home.  Clementina named that puppy Happy and for ten-and-a-half years Happy remained faithfully at her side, giving her unconditional love.  His mere physical presence on earth during that short period of time had changed her life forever.

After losing Happy, Clementina had no plans for acquiring another dog (feeling no one could ever take Happy's place) but God had other plans.  Soon after moving to Florida, Clementina found and rescued Caesar.  Caesar, an eight-year old Golden Retriever, had endured nothing but neglect and abuse during his life.  Because of all the.abuse, Caesar had several medical challenges, but that didn't stop Clementina from giving him her whole heart and taking on the commitment to do everything that could be done for him.  Clementina went to bat for Caesar and fought battles that shouldn't have needed fighting, but her love for Caesar, and his love for her, carried them through the difficult times.
