NBC Chief White House Correspondent Chick Todd reveals a portrait of one of the most intriguing presidents in U.S. history. This narrative gives one the inner workings of a man most citizens in this country find perplexing.

The Stranger discusses the enigmatic life of Barack Obama, his politics, professional, and personal background. Todd discusses how the resentment of being a political outsider affects his decision making bureaucratic mindset. He has done an excellent job of outlining the inner workings of Washington. He reveals his agenda and evaluates the progress and future of the next two years of his presidency.

The author shows how Obama began his candidacy, his policies and how they have changed since his election. He shows an objective look at the system and Obama’s difficulties in imposing his “Obamism”. He also talks about the Health care policy and its ability to survive his presidency.

What is in store for the country over the next two years of his presidency? How will Obama’s policies affect future generations and future politics?

The book is well researched and insightful. It will educate and amaze readers who have wondered what Obama is all about. While it may not answer all one’s questions, it will reveal a hint of his motives.
