Wow. Just when I thought I heard
it all….
Crisis of
Character is a shocking exposé about a First Couple
we, as Americans, put our trust in ….
Gary
J Bryne is a retired Secret Service agent. He shares what
it was like to protect three different presidents in the White
House. He sets the tone as he shares the respect both Bush
Sr. and George W showed the White House and the staff, and
how dramatically it all changed after the Clintons arrived.
Respect and professionalism was out the window. President
Clinton had sex with various women in the Oval office while
a paranoid First Lady Clinton terrorized the staff and used
the White House budget as her personal dinner party account.
I got the impression the Clintons’ treated the White
House as their personal mansion, the household staff like
slaves, and the American people as their money bag.
Bryne
tells us what it was like watching Clinton’s office
staff behave like spoiled, vindictive teens, running in the
hall and breaking security rules. Respect for our Country,
the Secret Service, and the Rules and Regulations of the White
House was nonexistent. When Bryne gets to the charges against
the President he reveals how the legal system works when politicians
are involved. It’s not nice, and those forced to testify
become the targets, instead of the Clintons. We hear about
Ken Starr again, and how hard he tried to pull the veil off
of America’s eyes concerning this First Family. Bryne
writes about his personal and professional life, and how he
keeps them separate. He gives us an interesting insight to
the procedures of the Secret Service. He also relives 9/11
and the Oklahoma bombing. He reveals what it was like working
for the Clintons’ and being forced to testify against
them. He relays his anger at President Clinton for lying and
refusing to apologize to those who witnessed his Frat house
behavior and suffered because of it. But what we learn with
The Crisis of Character is that Monica Lewinsky was
a minute part of the chaos the First Family and their staff
caused in the White House…. Bryne includes bits and
pieces of his life at first and once he gets past the Clintons
and testifying he continues to share more about his personal
and professional life.
The
audio version of The Crisis of Character may be nine
and half hours long, but you'll never notice because Actor
Brian Troxell's narration is so natural it's like you're hearing
it first hand. When you turn on The Crisis of a Character
expect to hear the words of a man who’s ready to let
go of a variety of burdens after so years.
