Emeril's Potluck
Comfort Food with a Kicked-Up Attitude

By Emeril Lagasse

One of America's favorite chefs once again gives us a fabulous cookbook, with "Emeril's Potluck." If you are like I am and always searching for a great new recipe that can be easily prepared and taken to a party or family gathering then this is definitely the book you need. With plenty of different recipes and tips on storage and easy ways, it makes sure you can get your food to the party. For those who just don't have the time to cook a great meal everyday, well just try a few of the wonderful casseroles and freeze them, then on those stressful days you can just warm one up and have a great meal. As you read the book you will find many old recipes that have been kicked up a bit to give them just a little more. Throughout the book you will feel as if Emeril is actually in your kitchen sharing these recipes with you, as there is a little narrative paragraph at the beginning of each new recipe. With easy to read chapters such as drinks, soups, salads, casseroles, breads, desserts, and plenty more, I know that with this book I will always be able to find that just perfect recipe for family and friends. I would highly recommend this book for anyone, whether you're wanting to go to a family gathering or just have a great meal at home.
