Fix-it And Enjoy-it Cookbook
All-purpose, Welcome-home Recipes

by Phyllis Pellman Good

A treasure chest of down home recipes overflows in Phyllis Pellman Good’s Fix-it And Enjoy-it Cookbook: All-purpose, Welcome-home Recipes. Each tantalizing treat will have you planning a feast fit for a king.

These recipes are some of the best I have ever experienced. Each one lets the cook know right up front how much prep time and cooking is required for each recipe. This is invaluable information for those of us who are pressed for time. Also, the self-help tips provide an unlimited amount of information that you might not otherwise know. There is no doubt this book will appeal to all levels: culinary wannabes, experts, and those who are just wanting to try something different.

There were so many wonderful recipes that it was difficult to select which ones I would consider my favorites. This vast collection consists of 675 or more of some of the most mouthwatering recipes I have ever encountered. My family and I both agree that these recipes greatly enhance my cooking skills. The recipes that I tried included spiced pork chops, southwest bean soup, and Cajun pineapple cake.

There is no question that when you see the name Phyllis Pellman Good associated with any type of cookbook you are in for a special treat. Her books provide a measure of excellence combined with a wealth of knowledge to produce award-winning recipes. Very highly recommend.
