I
became a vegetarian well over 20 years ago, and strive towards
veganism, but it isn’t always easy to do so. Naturally,
when I saw The Karma Chow Ultimate Cookbook available for
review, I jumped at the chance.
There are some
fantastic recipes included, and full color photos to show
you what your meal should look like. The chapters are broken
down into breakfast recipes, snacks, soups and salads, entrees,
side dishes and desserts. Some of my favorites are the veggie
breakfast scramble, kitchen- sink veggie soup, and chickpea
fillets.
The recipes are easy to follow, the ingredients are easy to
find, and the health benefits are readily apparent. In fact,
I’m bringing this book to my next doctor’s appointment
to show her that I am serious about eating for health.
I cannot recommend
this book highly enough. Author Melissa Costello has done
a wonderful job sharing healthy, tasty, and appealing recipes. |
