Naked Nutrition is not your ordinary cook book or diet book. It's a lifestyle book, brimming with nutrition information and easy to follow recipes that will inspire you to improve the quality of your life.

My husband has been on a whole foods diet for over a year now, and to be honest, the recipes he uses seem overwhelming to me. I was thrilled to received Naked Nutrition so that I, too, can contribute healthy meals to our household.

The book is beautifully laid out with appetizing photographs and and clear and concise instructions on everything from how to properly stock your pantry to proper cooking techniques.

The diet is plant based and provides so many options for different types of meals that you could make different recipes for weeks on end without repetition. That said, if you are like me you'll soon find some favorites that you will return to again and again.

As I'm writing this review it's a bitterly cold and windy January day, and the recipe for Alphabet Vegetable soup is calling my name. It is an easy to make soup, quick to prepare and easy to personalize by making alphabet letters out of thinly sliced zucchini rounds with the use of cookie cutters. The letters in the picture of the soup spell "Yum Good." I can't wait any longer; it's time to make the soup!!
