Blood Blade
Skinners: Book One

by Marcus Pelegrimas

Cole Warnecki is a computer game designer working on a new game he just can't seem to get right. The deadline for the game has to be pushed back and Cole wants to take a vacation. He doesn't want just any vacation either, but an "extreme vacation," similar to the game he is designing. What he didn't take into consideration was to be careful exactly what you wish for, because you just might get it. Upon arriving at his extreme vacation destination with the other vacationers, some frat brothers and an old man named Gerald and his young friend Brad, things quickly go from the norm to blood soaked extremes in seconds flat. Cole will be thrown into a world he knew only to exist in the games that he designed and now he will be forced to choose between his old life and the new, much more violent one.

I enjoyed this book so much that I found myself at the local bookstore looking for the next one only to find that he has not written it yet, but it is in the makings.  Marcus Pelegrimas weaves an action packed adventure with flowing skill. Blood Blade is the kind of fast paced story that really sinks its teeth into you. It will drag you kicking into the darkness and have you screaming, "No, don't go in there!" to the very end.
