Crystal Beaded Jewellery

by Christine and Sylvie Hooghe

Nothing sparkles like crystal, and there are so many wonderful colors of crystal beads available. Get ready to bead up a storm and fill your jewelry box with lovely pieces to match your outfits.

A book where every lovely piece of jewelry has a set of instructions on how to make it - I'm in crafting heaven! No galleries by professional artists, or misleading pictures. Everything in here has clear, illustrated step-by-step diagrams that are simple to follow. Better yet, each item is part of a set of several items. Not every set comprises all of the following, but choose from: necklaces, earrings, bracelets (lots of these), hair ornaments and rings. At the front is a guide to all the materials featured, tips on working with crystal and doing things like finishing off, dealing with findings etc. Each project is graded according to difficulty, and as long as you have the items listed clearly at the start of each project you can get beading right away. Even a total beginner ought to be able to make some of the easier pieces, and everything looks just stunning. This is one of my favorite beading books.
