Outline Stickers
(A Passion For Paper Series)
by Judy Balchin
Peel-offs are everywhere these days, and are a wonderfully user-friendly way of adorning greetings cards. That
isn’t all you can do with them, and this book will tell you more. It is part of Search Press’s new series,
A Passion For Paper, showcasing some of the trends that have made paper crafts so very popular.
You can make cards of course, but why not have a go at making gift tags, bookmarks, boxes, Christmas decorations,
scrap booking or covering blank books? In short, a grand way of packaging and labeling your gifts, a few of the
gifts themselves and happy memories of the occasions celebrated. You don’t need all that much to make these things,
and most of the items shown are the sort of things paper crafters already have (glitter glue, fancy yarns, sequins,
paints etc) or which can be easily obtained. The projects are all fairly simple, and of the sort that can be
adapted to be used with different peel-offs, and any occasion you can think of. Boxes particularly are well
covered in here, and look like gifts themselves. I’ve seen other books on peel-offs, but they all seemed to be
mainly about cards so it is wonderful to see something like this. One for the keeper shelf to be mined for ideas!
