Papers For Men
The Crafter’s Paper Library

by Crafthouse Press

Men make up half of the population, and presumably receive half of all the cards that are bought or made. But, just as it is not easy to find cards for them in the shops, it is often even more difficult to find craft materials suitable for men if you prefer to do it yourself. Crafters will therefore be pleased that here is a whole book filled with detachable papers aimed at men’s cards, all high quality and featuring useful grids on the back for both imperial and metric users. Perhaps the only drawback is that the men will mainly need to be keen on sports (which instantly rules out nearly all the men I send cards to). They will also need to like a vintage style, as the papers are mostly based on montages of old cigarette cards and advertising copy. For younger and more modern tastes there are also a few featuring various balls, bats, cups and other sporting icons. Also featured are a page of tools, vintage steam trains and cars, a page of old HMV style gramophones, and two pages of general antique adverts aimed at men. If this is suitable for the men (and any women also liking these things, who are many too) in your life then you will find it most useful, especially as it is also acid and lignin free so you can scrap the same men enjoying their hobbies, too.

Also available in this series is a similar book featuring Ancient Egyptian papers which would also be very suitable for men’s cards, along with those for anybody else interested in the period, and with the same publication date.
