Rich Dad’s Advisors:
The Advanced Guide to Real Estate Investing
How to Identify the Hottest Markets and Secure the Best Deals
by Ken McElroy
read by Dave Mallow
Ken McElroy's audio book, The Advanced Guide to Real Estate Investing, is his second contribution to Robert
Kiyosaki's Rich Dad, Poor Dad series. I took it for granted that, if Kiyosaki endorsed it, it has to be good.
I was not disappointed in the least. As an audio book, it flows, is easy to listen to and understand. Though it is
composed of three CD's packed full of information, it nonetheless is for the advanced listener, one who has already
tackled McElroy's ABC's of Real Estate Investing (also
reviewed on Myshelf), his first
contribution in Kiyosaki's series.
Even though one might stumble across this book first, there's no reason why one should set it aside until The
ABC's has been read. The first disc refreshes the basics, preparing the listener for what follows in the next
two. Though geared toward multi-family property acquisition, the CDs give step-by-step information, and real life
incidences to prepare the listener for his first acquisition, or perhaps remind him of the necessity for following
a pattern to be successful. McElroy's book meets, perhaps even exceeds, Kiyosaki's high level of expertise required
to be one of his advisors. There is no waste of time, no trivial grandstanding in this book. No matter what point
in real estate investing a person finds himself, it is well worth his time and effort to find this book before he
takes the next step. |
