Decorate your home with these easy to make, colorful card models. Just press out and glue together for instant space-enhancing décor. Choose from a New York donut, pink fairy armadillo, pretty butterflies, toucan, retro camera and more.

I have fond memories of making up models like these as a child from “cut and stick” books. Instead of cutting out the pieces they are all perforated for easy removal, and once the tabs have been folded a dab of glue secures them for display. There are ten to make up plus a section at the back of backgrounds to enhance their effectiveness as ornaments. These include scenes inspired by New York, Japan and Mexico, as well as a picture frame, fish tank and others. Like the models, they are printed on rather thin card, which would be even better if it was a bit thicker, but they are printed back to back. This makes it impossible to use them to display more than half the models at once but the photographs of finished items give ideas as to what else to include in your scenes. Each model comes with a page of simple, staged assembly instructions and on the pieces themselves there are letters and numbers to match up. You don’t need much experience with papercrafts to make them up and children as well as adults can enjoy piecing together the shapes, which even come ready creased. I hope there will be more like it, a lot of fun.
