Bishop E. Bernard Jordan has written a book, The Laws of Thinking, which puts some of the commonly accepted
beliefs about our relationship with God on a level with ignorance. It is Jordan’s thesis that God wants all of us
to be prosperous so we can do more to further God’s cause.
In twenty chapters with such titles as "The Law of Becoming," "The Law of Spirit," and the "Law of Attraction"
the author explains how we can attain those things already in place for us (and all those things are good). The
key to attaining these blessings centers around keeping God and his plan foremost in what we do in our lives.
Jordan suggests we should take great risks because God rewards those who take great risks and depend on Him
to reward such risks with even more wealth. Contrary to most tenets, Jordan suggests that God is happy with
those people who have new cars, big homes and successful business as long as these people are doing it for the
glory of God.
Each chapter is well written and contains key points such as IF YOU’RE NOT AWARE OF GOD’S NATURE, YOU’RE
NOT AWARE OF YOUR OWN NATURE. (These concepts are in all uppercase letters). The end of each chapter has a list
of key points for that chapter. You may not agree with his thinking, but you will be impressed by the way he
presents the material.
