Mustard Seeds:
Thoughts on the Nature of God and Faith

by Lynn Coulter

Mustard Seeds:  Thoughts on the Nature of God and Faith is an inspirational and hope-filled book on the renewal of faith.  Lynn Coulter does a fabulous job giving comfort and hope to everyone who at times grapples with their faith.  I enjoyed Lynn Coulter's honesty and her ability to be open with her own life and struggles, thereby offering comfort to all of us who at times waver in our belief of God.

Life can get messy.  Our hearts and spirits can be broken.  We can begin to question our faith when we are frustrated, tired, and just plain weary.  Our faith takes a beating when life treats us badly.  Sometimes it is necessary for us to fight just as soldiers fight on the battlefield; trusting God for the victory.  Faith has to buck up its muscles when it stares tragedy and sorrow in the face.   Pain can be the megaphone God uses to grab our attention.  But God is constantly calling us back to Him in hundreds of ordinary little ways.

Little by little, begin to see and count up the blessings God has given you and trust in His love even though you will never understand everything that happens.  Life is riddled with mystery.  And always remember there is no night so dark that Jesus can't find you.

If we just have faith the size of a mustard seed, we can and will move mountains of doubt out of our lives.
