The Osteen family has produced an interesting book in Power over the Enemy:
Breaking Free from Spiritual Strongholds as the book
was written by the father John, read by the son Paul and commented
on by Joel.
In the book John gives us information on how to have power
over our enemy (Satan). He breaks the book into seven areas
where and how to be free of the Devil and live a life of Victory:
(1.) When the Tempter Comes. (2.) How Jesus dealt with Temptation,
(3) Engaging in Spiritual Warfare, (4) Pulling Down Strongholds,
(5) How to Demonstrate Satan's Defeat, (6) Seven Ways to Recognize
False Teachings, and (7) Live a Live of Victory,
The reader has to be careful or he/she may confuse when Paul
is reading and Joel is commentating as their voices sound
much alike.
Joel's commentary serves as an update to the writing of his
father. The doctrine remains basically all the same from father
to son.
