Even More - Todavia Mas
By Barbara Quick
Illustrated by Liz McGrath
Translation by Traduccion por Eida de la Vega

This bilingual story, told in both English and Spanish is a testament to the love felt between a child and mother, chronicling the changes from birth to the mother's old age. The narration alternates between the child and the mother's affirmation of love. Using this feel-good book as a conversation starter could help parents and children express their feelings for one another.

Raven Tree Press specializes in bilingual materials for early readers, and this story is told in a lyrical, easy to read text. Liz McGrath has captured the feelings perfectly in the marvelous illustrations. The back of the book contains a glossary of vocabulary words in both English and Spanish. This would be a useful addition to elementary school curriculum or home school as the easy, pleasant way to learn a second language.
