      The charming House-Mouse characters take on the outdoors in this third adventure in the series. They meet and befriend adorable creatures on their romp around the farm. Ellen Jareckie's House-Mouse characters and illustrations are so captivating that your little ones will want to read the book over and over again.

      I felt that two of the friends of the House-Mouse characters were inappropriate, however. I hope that some child doesn't decide that his own pet mouse can be friends with a kind cat, and owls also eat mice. Having said that, the book is a joyful frolic in the fantasy world of darling little animals and birds that children will love.

    This board book edition is just right for little hands and you can share the delight of reading it together at bedtime or storytime.
