I Know An Old Lady Who Swallowed A Fly
Sing-Along Stories
By Nadine Bernard Westcott and Mary Ann Hoberman

This brand new version of a great old favorite includes the music to sing along, the story to read, and games and activities for more fun. The story of the old lady who swallowed a succession of things after swallowing a fly, then tries to get rid of her inappropriate lunch, has not changed, but the exciting illustrations add new meaning to the silly rhyme. Nadine Bernard Westcott prepared these marvelously unique illustrations with watercolor and ink. My favorite is the expression on the cat's face when the old lady is making a sandwich out of him. The bright colors and all the facial expressions are exquisite. The silly situations will have your little ones howling with laughter.

This book is great for bedtime reading fun, or for group games at a little peoples' party.
