Diddle,
Diddle, Dumpling
Retold by Tracey Campbell Pearson
Tracey
Campbell Pearson has released yet another retelling of a great,
but somewhat forgotten nursery rhyme. Using colorful illustrations
that will make you smile, Pearson has brought to life the short
rhyme of Diddle, Diddle, Dumpling.
I
really like the series of nursery rhymes Pearson has released. All
of them are ones that I remember hearing once or twice when I was
a kid, or new ones that I hadn’t even heard of before. I love
the way the illustrations convey a current setting that goes along
with the nursery rhyme. It makes it a lot easier for the children
to get into the story. Good job!
