Bobo and the New Neighbor
by Gail Page
Bobo and the New Neighbor features a loveable, canine version of Oscar Madison (Remember The Odd Couple?)
who makes an encore after his introduction in
How to Be a Good Dog. When a new neighbor moves into the house next door, Bobo is determined to meet the new lady
and make friends.
Unfortunately, the pooch decides to go "undercover" to do so and he is mistaken for his owner, Mrs. Wrinklerump.
It gets more complicated when the real Mrs. Wrinklerump arrives and Cat blows Bobo's cover when he notices someone
has consumed all the muffins set out on the table.
Yes, it is all a little complicated, but this rollicking misadventure about making new friends does end on a high
note. Bobo is such a delightful character that young readers will return to this story over and over again. |
