Buster Goes to Cowboy Camp
by Denise Fleming
Poor Buster, he's being sent off to summer camp, and the brown dog is not a happy camper! Of all things, Buster
discovers he'll be staying at a Cowboy Camp. Now, what's he going to do at a place like this?
Well, you'll be surprised at how quickly Buster adjusts to his new environment and really gets into the spirit of
cowboy camping. Yee-haw, pardners, this turns out to be old Buster's best summer ever.
Along with this lovable mutt, young readers will pick up some cowboy lingo like "chow," "shut-eye," "tenderfoot"
and "bunkhouse."
Here's a good object lesson for the youngster who might be reluctant to try something new or go someplace new. As
Buster discovers, there are all sorts of wonderful, fun surprises and new friends awaiting you away from home. |
