Whether it's due to Lynn Munsinger's hilarious pictures of crocodiles acting distinctly like humans, or the amusing way author David Greenberg introduces challenging vocabulary words through rhyme, I can't be certain; but they love this book. Picture your sons and daughters sitting in rapt attention while they watch crocodiles take on the guise of detectives, punks, and community helpers. There is so much action in the pictures kids find something new to point out every time they read it. Be prepared for more though, the back cover features pictures of the author's four other books: Snakes!, Skunks!, Bugs! and Slugs on the back cover to hunt down. Beginning readers might struggle with some of the bigger words, so that makes Crocs! a perfect choice to read together. Cuddle up with your little one for Crocs! and enjoy. |
