Saving Paw Paw:
A Lesson in CPR
by Steven K. And Catherine H. Hodge
Saving Paw Paw is an adorable book with beautiful pictures and a lot more. Inspired by their own
grandchildren, Steven K. and Catherine H. Hodge have written this book to teach children the importance of knowing
CPR. Saving Paw Paw is a book children will love to have read to them (or to read on their own) which is
also a tool for teaching them a very valuable lesson at the same time. I recommend this beautiful book to everyone
who has small children.
Loved by their mama, the kitties live in the garage. Paw Paw finds them very irritating and doesn't want them
around him. Mama feeds them every morning and they watch Paw Paw's picture box through the window, being very quiet
so as not to disturb Paw Paw.
One day Cody was peaking around the garage at Paw Paw but Paw Paw didn't yell at him like he normally did.
Suddenly Paw Paw began staggering, grabbed his chest and fell to the ground. Paw Paw wasn't breathing; he was very
sick. The kitties dialed 911 and left the phone off the hook so help would come. While waiting for help the
kitties began performing CPR on Paw Paw. The CPR kept Paw Paw alive until help could arrive. CPR saved Paw Paw's
life.
Now whenever Paw Paw watches his picture box the kitties come into the house through the newly installed cat door
and sit on the couch with Paw Paw watching the picture box along with their newfound friend - Paw Paw. |
