The author's two dogs couldn't be much different. Fanny is a girl dog and she's all white, while
Blue's a boy and kind of gray. Fanny's kind of small and is ten years older than Blue, who is midsize.
And even though Blue's real quick and Fanny's rather slow, the two wonderful mutts stick together
like glue and can never be parted.
As he sings the praises of his two pets, Lithgow stresses his unconditional love for his two
companions and the fact that he would never trade them for anything. Included with this picture
book is a CD of the author accompanied by a chorus of children singing this howling good melody.
