Little Frog loves to stay with his grandmother when his parents have to go someplace
overnight. When she tucks him in for the night, Little Frog's grandmother tells him,
"When the birds sing, come and wake me up."
The next day is filled with all sorts of fun things. Little Frog goes to yoga class
with his grandmother and afterwards they go swimming. Next they walk in the garden, pull
a few weeds, and then Grandma lets her grandson make peanut-butter-and-lettuce sandwiches.
After lunch it is time for a story followed by a short nap on the couch (for grandma,
of course!). A ride in the car ends the afternoon before Grandma makes a delicious dinner
and treats Little Frog to a special bubble bath.
Staying at grandmother's house is always lots of fun. But Little Frog enjoys this
special time so much because he really loves his grandma and being with her.
After you've read this book with your child ask him what are some of the things he
enjoys doing when he visits Grandma's house.
