A Mighty Fine Time Machine

by Suzanne Bloom

Antoine, an armadillo, and Grant, an aardvark, have traded their candy for a time machine. Well, as their buddy Samantha (an anteater) tells them, the two friends have been badly "bamboozled."

Fortunately, Samantha is willing to offer some advice to help Antoine and Grant transform their blah box into a marvelous device for traveling through time.

A few hoozie-doozies, a thingamabob, and some doodads will do the trick and after some tinkering, tweaking and a little ziggering, their time machine becomes a reality.

A clever story with a surprise ending makes this a picture book that states something many adults know already—the best time travel of all occurs when you reach for a book!
