Pippa at the Parade

by Karen Roosa
Illustrated by Julie Fortenberry

Little Pippa is off for an afternoon's adventure. Her parents are taking her to see a parade and then afterwards they are going to a place where they can play games and find all sorts of interesting food. Maybe Daddy can win Pippa a prize!

When it gets dark there will be fireworks. Then Pippa and her parents will head home. Even after all this excitement, here's one little girl who will quickly fall off to sleep because she's had a very exciting and full day.

A simple story with a rhymed text, preschoolers should enjoy this tale of Pippa's outing.  Once you have read it aloud a few times, try turning the pages and let your youngster tell you what is happening.
