Snow Bugs
A Wintery Pop-Up Book

by David Carter
Illustrated by David A. Carter

Pop-up book collectors and children alike will have fun with David Carter's latest big book. Snow Bugs: A Wintery Pop-Up Book features twenty pages of Carter's clever creations having a snowball of a good time as they celebrate the cold weather.

Open the window you find on the book's first page and you'll meet Thermometer Bug who graphically illustrates how cold it is outside. Before you can hurry outdoors, you'll have to don Beanie Bug, the Mitten and Boots Bugs, and Coat Bug.

The first thing you'll encounter outside will be a huge snowball. Flip it open and inside you'll discover the Snowflake Family. Continue on and even more bugs await you behind snow-drifts, behind the holly bush and wood-pile, and inside the snow fort.

The most elaborate treat of this pop up is on the final page when you find the snowman bug, which is a marvel of paper engineering. If you have been collecting this bug series of pop-up books, this is certainly one you'll want to buy before the supply runs out.
