Click, Clack, 123
A Counting Adventure

by Doreen Cronin
Illustrated by Betsy Lewin

The cows are at it again, working at the typewriter. This time they bang out a note for the farmer saying "Gone fishing!" But it is not what you think!

With the help of the chickens, goats and pigs, the cows have taken all the fish out of the farmer's goldfish tank and set them free in a nearby lake.

The comical situation and illustrations showing the barnyard animals carrying out their secret task make this a counting book toddlers will love. From one farmer sleeping to five cows typing the note and eight pigs carrying the pails filled with fish, this board book encourages the child to use his basic counting skills. 1-2-3 has never been so much fun!

There will be lots of laughter from start to finish, but the biggest joke of all occurs when, "One sleepy farmer rubs his eyes and wakes up to a fishy surprise!"

Look for a companion book, Click, Clack, ABC, which features the same animals focusing on alphabet skills. Whether it's mastering letter recognition or practicing simple math, the Click, Clack animals make the task a lot more enjoyable.
