Jump!

by Scott Fischer

In Jump! Scott Fischer uses repetition to create a delightful read aloud, rhyming picture book that features a number of critters that have to jump to avoid being eaten by a natural adversary.

It all begins simply enough when a little bug resting on a jug must JUMP to avoid a hungry green frog. Then the frog that is sleeping like a log must JUMP when a cat sneaks up behind him.

In the following pages the cat must JUMP to avoid a dog, the dog will have to JUMP to keep from becoming a crocodile's dinner, and when a shark sees the croc sleeping like a rock on a dock, you can guess what the croc must do. JUMP!

Not only do the illustrations of the featured creatures in this book jump right off the page, but children will also love shouting "JUMP!" at the appropriate time as you read this rollicking book to them.
