Olivia and Her Ducklings

Adapted by Veera Hiranandani
Illustrated by Shane Johnson

This Ready-to-Read book opens with Olivia and her brother Ian playing in the park when they spot a mother duck and her ducklings. When the three ducklings get separated from their mother, Olivia tries to get them back together.

The little pig and her brother head home only to discover the ducklings have followed Olivia to her house. "I guess they really, really liked me!" she says.

Olivia plays hide and seek with her new friends. Then they go for a swim in her bathtub before Olivia reads the ducklings a bedtime story.

A Level One story for beginning readers, this cute story uses a simple vocabulary, dialogue and short sentences which any preschooler should quickly master. The child will discover learning to read is as easy as a duck taking to water!
