Star
The Magic Sand Pony
Princess Evie’s Ponies Series – Book IV
by Sarah Kilbride and Sophie Tilley
Princess Evie has a stable filled with ponies – not ordinary
ones, but magical steeds that whisk her and her kitten Sparkles
off to faraway lands. This time it is the turn of Star, a sand pony
whose destination is a desert palace where the seven star princesses
of the desert live. Evie and Sparkles stay for a sleepover, but
is there a monster abroad in the palace?
There seems to be just about everything to enchant a little girl
in here: princesses, ponies, magical lands, pretty clothes, kittens,
sleepovers and a pink sparkly cover! The illustrations are very
pretty, filled with lovely colors and descriptions of all the things
that little girls love doing together. It is just long enough to
make an ideal bedtime read, and carry the listener off to dreamland
filled with pleasant thoughts. Even that is not all, for inside
the back cover is a press-out pony that stands up, ready to form
part of a collection with the other three from the earlier titles.
I can imagine this attractive, charming tale being a firm favorite
with little girls everywhere.
