Harold B. Wigglebottom Learns It’s OK to Back Away
By Howard Binkow
Nothing
is going right for Harold B. Wigglebottom today, and the little
rabbit is hopping mad. Every time he doesn’t get his way,
he loses his temper and does the wrong thing. Harold’s friend
Ali helps him figure out ways to control his anger. By the end of
the book, Harold learns how to back away from the things that cause
him to lose his temper.
Illustrator
Susan F. Cornelison does an excellent job of portraying not only
Harold’s anger but also the emotions of his friends as they
react to Harold’s behaviors. The back page spread in this
Harold B. Wigglebottom story takes the story one step further by
offering readers even more tips on what anger feels like and how
to manage it. This is a great story for parents to share with their
young children.
