Howard B. Wigglebottom Learns to Listen
By Howard Binkow
Howard B. Wigglebottom has a problem. He doesn’t like to listen
at school. His behavior gets him into many humorous situations.
When he has to sit in time-out, he has lots of time to think about
the things that happen to him when he doesn’t listen. He decides
he doesn’t like being in trouble all the time and tries to
change. The remainder of the book shows a much-improved rabbit.
Each book in the Harold B. Wigglebottom series includes a back page
spread filled with helpful tips for both children and their parents.
Harold B. Wigglebottom Learns to Listen includes a chart showing
How to Be a Better Listener” and discussion questions
for parents.
The
story is cute, although a bit heavy-handed on its one moral issue
(listening). It is a good book to share with the youngsters in your
home.
