Stevie Reel doesn’t know much about boys and she is not really
complaining about that situation. But Stevie has noticed that things
are changing in school and her classmates are beginning to “pair
up”.
Apparently Owen, a boy in her Earth Science class, has his sights
set on Stevie, but she isn’t really interested in having a
boyfriend just yet. Unfortunately, Stevie’s two sisters aren’t
much help.
On one hand, elder sister Alex, the family drama queen, has become
infatuated with the opposite sex and is trying to orchestrate a
perfect Romeo and Juliet style first kiss from her heartthrob while
younger sister Joey much prefers frogs to boys.
Oh well. Stevie never expected her voyage through adolescence
would be an uneventful journey. If figuring out boys was as easy
as predicting the weather, she could avoid the rough seas and stormy
conditions. But, of course, that would take all the excitement and
drama out of the adventure.
So like it or not, Stevie will have to deal with having boys hanging
around from this point on. Actually, it might not be such a bad
thing after all if only Stevie can learn to predict the vagaries
of their behaviors!
