Here’s a split-page board book for toddlers that celebrates ears. Ears come in all shapes and sizes. The split pages allow the reader to mix and match. In other words, on the first page you’ll find a lamb. What would that lamb look like with cat's’ ears? Flip the top half of the page and you’ll find out! Flip two pages and you can see what mouse ears on the lamb looks like!

Okay, you get the idea. Featured in this cute book are a lamb, cat, mouse, dog, cow, giraffe, pig and bunny. There are obviously all sorts of funny combinations your child can come up with which means laughter will accompany the reading of this book.

The text for each animal includes the sound the critter makes and a little information about it. You can turn this book into a teaching situation by asking your child to match the top and bottom pages correctly after you mismatch them. Or you can ask, “What sound does a pig make?” or “What kind of animal is this?”

However you decide to use this clever book, it will quickly become one of your child’s favorites.
