WaterBrook Press has issued the delightful children's book God Gave Us You in a sturdy format that is just right for the little hands that surely will handle it often.

The story answers the question: Where did I come from? The author and illustrator answer the question from the perspective of a mama bear and her cub. The answer, of course, is the title of the book.

It is assumed that the child will infer that if a bears loves her cub that much, how much more must my mama love me. It is somewhat like the scene in the Bible where we are reminded that God cares for every sparrow and how much more He loves us.

Even though the book is intended for the very young, it is good for parents to read and remember how precious our babies were (and still are).
