Featuring photos of real children and a playful text, this paper-over-board storybook offers foldout pages that walk the reader through a soccer game.

After watching a youngster slip on his cleats and soccer shirt, we follow him off to practice. Here he joins other children to do exercises and get ready for some drills where he learns to kick, dribble and pass the soccer ball with his teammates.

Next up is actually trying to kick the ball into the net and score a goal. Not only does he use his feet but also his head. How awesome! The ball actually goes right where the young athlete wants it to!

After a little impromptu game, everyone shakes hands and enjoys some drinks and a snack. What a fun day and soccer is really a lot of fun!

This is the ideal book to introduce a youngster to soccer and what he or she can expect when participating in a team practice. The foldout pages give you a lot more book for your money and show the entire sequence of events out on the field. \
