Young children will love following the party preparations of this cute little pig. Today is her big tea party and Princess Pig has a lot to do. There are dust bunnies to be swept away, rooms to paint and plaster, a table to set, and cookies to bake.

Princess Pig, not the neatest of individuals, willingly tackles each chore, but in doing so she seems to leave behind a bigger mess than she found in each room of her house. No matter, though. Her friends are too polite to say anything because she is a well-meaning hostess.

The rhyming narrative and funny illustrations that show Princess Pig getting ready for the big event will have youngsters smiling and giggling as they read this book. Certainly, many children will be able to relate to the main character’s well-meaning efforts to clean up her house even though she isn’t terribly successful. It’s the thought that matters - right?
