This story of a writer, who grows to love something she never wanted,
will enchant children and adults alike. Monique breeds puppies,
and she is sure that Harriet, who lives alone in a small house in
the woods, needs one of her adorable Bichon Frise puppies for company.
So Snowflake comes to live with Harriet, and their lives will never
be the same.
The little white dog is only going to stay for a week to see how
things go, because Harriet really doesn't want a dog. But Snowflake
is a charmer, and her antics endear her to Harriet in spite of the
inconveniences of owning a dog....yes, they were just made for each
other.
The illustrations are delightful, and the story inspirational. Karel
Hayes has found her niche in writing for children....she knows just
how to touch your heart. It will be a bedtime favorite with all
ages.
