This interactive “Springtime lift-the-flap book” will have toddlers enjoying Spring’s “wake-up!” call along with the animals in this story.

Sleeping under a big green leaf, a little ladybug wakes up from her long winter’s nap. Lift-the-flap and you’ll see her sleeping.

Once awake, the ladybug flies off to wake up her friend, a white bunny who is asleep in his burrow. Then the pair wake up a baby chick sleeping in an egg and a baby butterfly in its cocoon. Suddenly, a dark cloud comes along and it begins to rain, but the animals all find cover from the spring shower under a nice large flower.

Young children will have fun peeking behind each flap to see the critters resting there. As they find each animal, encourage your youngster’s participation by saying, “Wake up! Wake up! Spring is here!”
