This lift the flap book contains a special Halloween surprise for young readers. As they explore the witch’s kitchen and peek into her fridge, cabinet, and various containers, they’ll be surprised and perhaps even shocked by the contents.

Take, for example, the witch’s orange teapot featured on one of the pages. Lift the flap displayed on the side and there’s some nice strawberry tea. But then, if you left the flap from the opposite side, there’s a real shocker! There’s some really nasty goblin’s pee! Yikes!

Throughout the book you’ll find two choices since each flap opens two different ways. One is quite conventional but the other has a Halloween twist that can sometimes be rather gross! Kids will love it!

The only trick in making this treat work is to remember to carefully flip each flap from an outside edge. It took me a few seconds to figure out how to do this. Until you get the hang of it, be patient, because if you are not you’ll run the risk of ripping the flap and ruining the page!
