What an adorable board book. The illustrations are soft strokes, and colors almost reminiscent of Monet - at least that's who came to mind as I flipped through it. With 20 pages I wasn't sure if my four-year-old grandson would sit still long enough to enjoy it. After reading it I could see where the interests would be.... The soft colors, the darling little characters, and rhymes in both small and large fonts....

Night, Night Blessings is about giving thanks for the things in a child's life. They will easily identify with the content -- pets, favorite foods, toys, playtime, etc...

My grandson was quiet as I read the rhyming sentences. He looked over each page, pointed out the larger sentences, and wanted to go back through the book by himself. What a sweet book. We sure enjoyed it.
