Martin and Carle's wildly successful "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?" has been a great success, and now, this dynamic duo offers sounds. The polar bear is in a zoo setting and he hears a lion roaring, the lion hears a hippopotamus snorting, the hippo hears a flamingo fluting (what???), then there is a zebra braying, and other animals join in the fun. While the format is familiar, the inspired collages by Eric Carle provide visual interest in double-page spreads.

Your children will be chanting the words of the text and making the animal sounds. Let's pretend can be such fun!

With the CD playing, little ones can enjoy the book by themselves or read aloud at bedtime. This book will provide great family time conversation starters.
