While
Bear and his forest friends are having lunch Bear feels something
wiggle and wobble in his mouth. Oh goodness, it appears Bear
has his first-ever loose tooth.
At first Bear is worried that if the tooth falls out he won’t
be able to eat but his friends assure him that a new tooth
will grow in and replace the missing one.
Next, the problem is getting the wobbly tooth all the way
out. All Bear’s friends try to pull it out but to no
avail. The tooth won’t pop out. Then Bear ‘used
his tongue and he gave a little nudge. His tooth wiggled to
and fro; then what do you know…Bear’s tooth fell
out!’
That night, while Bear was sleeping, the Tooth Fairy visited
and left Bear a big bowl of blueberries.
If you have a little one who might have a loose tooth, this
picture book would be a good read that would help you explain
what’s happening. After hearing about Bear’s tooth
the youngster should feel a little better about losing his
or her baby teeth.ies
