Coming home in the family car one evening, a little girl believes the full moon is following her home. She is even more surprised to discover the moon then rests in her backyard. What a bizarre situation.

What happens next to the town she lives in when the moon remains in her backyard forms the crux of this picture book. I won't ruin the story by telling you all the odd things that occur, but the little girl will guide you through these odd occurrences.

Not all children will find this book entertaining, but quite a few will think this is a clever story. As a footnote - those who live in Alaska and places where the nights can be extremely long at certain times during the year, this story won't create much of a stir at all!
